Celebrating 10 years at NOBTS were Dr. Harold Mosley, Dr. Argile Smith, Dr. Asa Sphar, Dr. Thomas Strong, and Dr. Ken Taylor. Dr. Gerald Stevens celebrated 15 years, while Dr. Chuck Kelley celebrated twenty years on faculty. Drs. Reggie Ogea, Chuck Quarles, and Jeff Riley signed the doctrinal statements. Church-Minister Relations to host Life Beyond Seminary On-Line!
The CMR Office hosts a Life Beyond Seminary Week every year in February for students to interact with potential ministry opportunities beyond graduation. This year the CMR staff will host an on-line version in September to expand the services to students. The LBS web site will be active for the week of September 22-26 and will spotlight current ministry opportunities from participating ministries and SBC agencies. Please pray for our students as they consider God's place of ministry for them.
Providence Guest House Receiving More than a Facelift
Construction on a new 59 unit motel style facility began back in the Spring of this year. The new housing will benefit extension center students coming to the campus for on-campus course requirements, as well as conference guests, and alums who return to the seminary. Completion is expected by the end of the year with the facility available to use after the first of the new year.
