NOBTS WOMEN
NOBTS WOMEN, the collective title for campus women's organizations, exists to support and encourage women who are preparing for ministry by providing activities related to their spiritual, social, and professional development.
QUEST: This group focuses on our women students, offering social opportunities as well as spiritual growth outlets for women studying in our undergraduate and graduate programs.
STUDENT WIVES FELLOWSHIP: This organization provides fellowship and growth opportunities to all student wives. This includes monthly social events as well as Ministry Wife classes throughout the school year, both in-class on Tuesday evenings and on-line each semester.
HEARTBEAT: The women staffers at NOBTS as well as staff wives are encouraged to fellowship together in this unique organization during regularly-scheduled outings and meetings.
PROFETTES: Faculty wives and women faculty members share together in this long-standing fellowship organization during regular meetings. In addition, they provide encouragement opportunities to female students during the annual holiday celebration in Carey Hall as well as mingling with student couples during the Valentine's Progressive Dinner.
The heart of the women’s ministry at NOBTS is to equip women while preparing for future service in God’s kingdom. Truly we believe that the challenge of being godly women in this generation is like that of Queen Esther’s: “For who knows that you have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this?”
For information on any of the women's ministry, contact Dr. Judi Jackson at 504-282-4455, ext. 3334.
