We stand on the principle that true healing comes from God.  Our students incorporate biblical truth in their studies and grow in their knowledge of the Word of God.  We offer a program that equips students to be instruments for the Lord, guiding people to biblical solutions to life's problems.  

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

NOBTS students and faculty are committed to advancing the field of biblically-based Christian counseling in church settings and in positions requiring professional licensure.  Our faculty publications have focused on foundational and practical issues that guide our work.

PRACTICAL MINISTRY

NOBTS students and graduates are making an impact in post-Katrina New Orleans, in counseling centers, hospitals and other clinical settings, on state licensing boards, in professional organizations, and in churches across the nation.  NOBTS graduates are committed to the ministry of counseling.

MISSION FOCUS

NOBTS counselors are on mission at home and around the world.  Our faculty and students have missions experience and mission focus.  Whether training counselors in Cuba or training pastors and counselors in our communities, we are committed to serving God's people wherever he leads.
