Seminary Mourns the Loss of Dr. James A. Headrick

Dr. Headrick, Associate Professor of Pastoral Counseling, died on Wednesday, February 4 due to heart failure. The seminary family grieves with his family, but celebrates his life as a servant of the Lord. For more information, go to: http://www.bpnews.net/bpnews.asp?ID=17593

New Hamm Hall Opens 

The Hamm Hall of the Providence Guest House opened in January. The 59 unit motel style rooms provides new housing facilities for extension center students, alums and others on campus.

Dr. Don Wilton, pastor of First Baptist Church Spartanburg, SC, will be leading Campus Revival Services February 10-12. Faculty and students are encouraging all to prepare for this time through prayer. Dr. J. Hardee Kennedy Remembered

Dr. Kennedy, retired academic vice-president and professor-emeritus, died December 28, 2003 in Meridian, MS. He was 88. For more information go to: http://www.bpnews.net/bpnews.asp?ID=17483 

Campus Construction Continuing

In addition to one of the last rounds of faculty housing construction, new student housing will soon be constructed. Housing for single students is underway. Preparation for these units has begun with the removal of state building apartments. The eight states buildings west of Iroquois Street on campus have been removed.

Youth Ministry Institute hosts YMI V

The Youth Ministry Institute hosted over 140 participants during its two weeks of sessions in January.
