Visit the Campus

If you are preparing to attend seminary, you are embarking on an exciting journey. God has many blessings in store for those who seek to walk with Him in obedience. Whether you are praying about moving to New Orleans to attend classes on our main campus, taking classes through one of our numerous extension centers, or just picking up a few workshop classes, this transition in your life can be challenging. It is our hope that the Office of Student Enlistment will be able to minister to you during this time. Our goal is to help you determine if New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary is the place that the Lord has prepared for you.

We would like to invite you to visit our campus in order for you to get the most accurate picture of our city, our campus, and what life is like at NOBTS. You and your family may visit the seminary at any time during the school year or summer term. When you provide us with two weeks notice of your proposed visit date, we can offer you:

  • Two nights of free accommodations on campus
  • A meal ticket good for our cafeteria and cafe
  • An opportunity to meet with a faculty member in your area of study
  • A class session to observe
  • A chance to sit in on chapel when in session
  • A tour of campus and on campus housing
  • Information about our city and local attractions
  • Free time to obtain valuable information from a variety of departments
  • New friends that will encourage you and share their experience with you

Another exciting option for visiting our campus is for you and your family to take part in Preview Weekend. This weekend brings our entire campus together to give prospective students the information and support they need to determine God’s will for their theological education.
