NOBTS Preview Day at the North GA Hub

Join us on Monday, April 28, 2014 for the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Preview Day at the North GA Hub! Prospective students will have the opportunity to observe a class, learn about NOBTS programs, attend chapel, and dialogue with faculty, staff and students over lunch. NOBTS President Dr. Chuck Kelley will be present to lead chapel and meet prospective students. Lunch is FREE for prospective students and those who invite prospective students. *Registration is required to receive free lunch. Student Partnerships

  • Belgium - Join other NOBTS students, faculty, and staff on short term mission trips to Belgium. The vision of this partnership is to work together to share the Gospel, make disciples of all Flemish people, and plant multiplying Flemish churches. 
  • Cameroon - Learn how you can join in the partnership with Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary through praying, teaching and many other opportunities. 
  • Lake Tahoe - Creatively and compassionately reveal the presence of God to those who live, work, and play in the resort communities surrounding Lake Tahoe through the A+ Before and After School program. Semester long ministry opportunities are available each fall and spring for college or recently graduated students.

Seminary Scholarships:

Georgia Baptist Foundation offers financial assistance to all qualified Georgia Baptist students enrolled in Southern Baptist seminaries. The financial assistance is provided from funds held in trust by the Georgia Baptist Foundation. www.gbfoundation.org

BWMU of Georgia grants a limited number of scholarships each year to women residing in Georgia who are attending Baptist seminaries. To qualify for one of these scholarships, students must indicate an evidence of need, commitment to missions, academic ability, strong character, good health, personal references and acceptance by a Baptist seminary. An application form may be downloaded from the state WMU office web site, www.georgiawmu.org. The application form must be completed and returned to the WMU office by March 1.


Graduate classes at the North Georgia Hub meet on Mondays as well as Tuesday and Thursday nights, and Saturdays. Graduate students may earn a Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Christian Education, or a Master of Arts in Worship Studies degree.


Leavell College classes meet on two tracks: all day Monday or Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights. Students in Leavell College may obtain an Associate in Christian Ministry degree or work toward a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry degree.

NOBTS is offering a fully accredited Biblical Teaching Certificate Program. This program is available to all persons regardless of educational background. The purpose of this program is to provide supplemental training for ministers and local church leaders in biblical interpretation and instruction. Up to 12-18 hours can be applied toward an Associate or Bachelor's degree program. For more information on certificate programs email Dr. Peter Kendrick at pkendrick@nobts.edu.
