The Financial Aid Office is dedicated to serving students and student families who are pursuing an education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  Our primary focus is to assist our students in making wise financial decisions that help them complete their education and honor God by being good stewards of their resources. 

The Financial Aid Office offers a variety of services to meet the needs of our students.  We manage the NOBTS scholarship program with the goal of helping the greatest number of students possible who demonstrate financial need.  Another service is the FACTS payment plan through NelNet Business Solutions.  This program allows the student to divide tuition into monthly payments to make the cost of tuition more manageable throughout the semester. 

Assistance with budgeting or financial concerns is also offered through one-on-one meetings with the Financial Aid Director.  We are available for financial counseling when emergency situations arise as well as when looking at long-term planning such as student loans.  NOBTS does not offer a loan program, but we have information on several options through independent lending institutions. 

Another service offered through our office is an online listing of employment opportunities in the New Orleans area.  We also maintain a job board outside the Financial Aid Office with the same employment listings.  Many employers in the area desire seminary students or spouses as employees because of the reputation for integrity and good work ethic.
