Other NOBTS Scholarships

The Spousal Tuition Discount of one-half tuition for regular semester courses is available to the spouse of a student (main campus only) who is enrolled full-time.The half-tuition for spouses does not include independent studies, academic workshops, Baptist College Partnership courses, internet courses or any doctoral work. Contact the Registrar's Office at 504.282.4455 ext. 3304 if you qualify for the spousal discount.

*A student cannot receive both an NOBTS scholarship (first semester or current student scholarship) and any of the following scholarships in the same semester.

The Women’s Auxiliary Scholarship is available to the wife of a currently enrolled full-time student who has been enrolled at least one semester. The wife DOES NOT have to be a full-time student to receive the scholarship. The deadline for the Fall semester is April 30th and September 30th for the Spring semester. Contact the Financial Aid Office for an application.

The Journeyman/ISC Scholarship is $1,000 per semester for the first two semesters for students who meet the following requirements:

  • Student must be a returning Journeyman or ISCer who has completed two years of service with the International Mission Board.
  • The student must begin at NOBTS within 18 months of having returned to the United States.
  • The student must be a full-time student. Full-time status for Financial Aid purposes only includes on-campus classes, Saturday classes, and hybrid courses. Internet courses, independent studies, and workshops DO NOT count toward full-time status.
  • Contact the Financial Aid Office to complete an application for the Journeyman/ISC Missionary Tuition Discount/Scholarship.

The Missionary-in-Residence Tuition Discount is offered by the Seminary for missionaries who are in one of the missionary residences on campus while on stateside assignment. The tuition discount is 10%. Contact the Financial Aid Office for an application.
