Qualifications

• A student must complete the online grant application in September for the Spring semester and in April for the Fall semester.  The application will only be available during these months.

• A student must maintain full-time status during the entire semester of the award.  Full-time for main campus students is 12 hours for undergraduates, 9 hours for Masters level, and doctoral students must be currently enrolled in the program.  Extension center students must be taking at least two classes at the extension center to be considered full-time.  Full-time status for Financial Aid purposes only includes on campus classes and Saturday classes.  Internet courses, independent studies, and workshops DO NOT count toward full-time status.

• A student must not have a past due balance on their NOBTS account.

• A student must return a thank you note for the donor of their scholarship to the Financial Aid Office.
