Welcome to the Korean Theological Institute
한국어부(KTI) 한국인에 의해 한국어로 진행하는 강의뉴올리언즈 침례 신학대학의 한국어부는 한국인들과 미주 한인들에게 자국어로받는 효과적인 훈련을 제공하기 위한 일치된 노력의 일환입니다. 한국어부를통하여 단순한 수료 과정에서부터 대학원 수준까지 모든 수준의 교육들이 제공될것입니다 . 주로 강사로는 한국어를 쓰는 교수나 보조 교사로 세워진 뉴올리언즈신학교의 박사과정 중에 있는 학생들이 될 것입니다. 본 한국어부는 박사 과정에있는 한국 학생들에게는 가르칠 수 있는 좋은 기회가 그리고 배우는 자들에게는자국어로 훈련받을 수 있는 더 없이 좋은 기회가 될 것입니다.한국어부를 통하여 뉴올리언즈 침례 신학대학은 한국어로 진행되는 석사 수준의강좌들을 간헐적으로 제공할 것이며, 이 강좌들은 주로 여름 방학 동안에 그리고짧은 기간내에 마칠 수 있는 형식으로 제공될 것입니다. 한국어로 진행되는 단순한수료과정이나 학부 수준의 강좌들은 본교의 북조지아 센터에서 아틀란타 신학교와연계하여 10 제공될 것입니다. 본교의 한국어부는 본교의 이사회로 부터 2003년 월에 정식으로 인준되었습니다. 또한 본교는 스페인어, 포르투갈어, 불어,베트남어 등 여러 언어로 진행하는 신학 강좌들을 계속하여 제공할 것입니다.비전 지금 한국인들은 세계 그리스도인 공동체 내에서 주요한 역할을 담당하고 있고,또한 지난 수 년 동안 뉴올리언즈 침례 신학대학의 신학 공동체 내에서도 중요한한 부분이 되어왔습니다. 미국에 있는 신학교에 온 한국 학생들은 그들의 신학교육을 위해 오랫동안 고국을 떠나 있어야 하고 또 유학 비용을 지불해야 하는 등많은 고충을 겪게 됩니다. 아마 그 중에서도 가장 큰짐이 있다면 자국어가 아닌외국어로 대학원 과정의 수업을 들어야 한다는 사실일 것입니다. 이 학생들 중에얼마간은 Teaching Koreans with Koreans in KoreanThe Korean Theological Institute of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary is a concerted effort to provide effective training for Koreans and Korean Americans in their native tongue. The Institute will involve all levels of education from certificate through graduate level training. The primary teachers are Korean-speaking faculty and doctoral students at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, supplemented by some adjunct teachers. This program provides excellent teaching opportunities for Korean doctoral students, and excellent training in the Korean language for Korean-speaking students. Through the Institute, the Seminary will offer periodic master's level courses taught in the Korean language, particularly during the summer and in short course formats. Certificate and undergraduate classes in Korean are also offered at the Seminary's North Georgia Center in association with the Atlanta Bible School and Seminary. The Korean Theological Institute was approved by the Trustees of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in October 2003. The Seminary also offers theological classes in a variety of languages at various locations, including Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole French, and Vietnamese. The VisionKoreans play a major role in the world Christian community, and for many years have been a significant part of the theological community of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Korean students who come to seminary in the United States go to great lengths to secure their theological education by living overseas away from their home for long periods and paying the expense of foreign study. Perhaps one of the greatest burdens they assume is taking graduate classes in another language than their native tongue. Some of these students will minister to the Korean Christian community in the United States; most will return to their native land or other countries.
