Bachelor Degree Completion Plan

Leavell College

The Leavell College Degree Completion Plan will help ministers who have completed an associate degree from an accredited institution earn a bachelor degree without:

  • having to uproot their families
  • leaving their current church setting
  • moving to the campus in New Orleans
  • enrolling in class-based, semester length courses

By offering classes through intensive one-week workshops and internet based formats, students can earn the hours necessary to complete the Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry Degree.

The exact components of the degree completion plan will differ for each student, based upon such issues as the nature of the associate degree and each student's choice of minors. Students who have graduated with an associate degree from Leavell College will only be 56 hours away from completing the degree. On average, a student with a Leavell College associate degree can earn the bachelor degree by taking 6 one-week workshops and 11 internet courses. (Click here for a more detailed explanation of exact courses that will be needed to complete the degree.)

Students who earned an associate degree from an accredited school other than Leavell College may also take advantage of this program. However, the exact number of hours needed to graduate will differ depending on the makeup of the associate degree since hours will be transferred on a class for class basis.
