Undergraduate Certificates (Leavell College)
The undergraduate certificate programs through Leavell College are designed to enhance the knowledge base and leadership skills of pastors, staff, and other leaders in local churches. These short-term training opportunities are available to all persons regardless of educational background.
The following undergraduate certificates currently are offered online:
- Biblical Studies Certificate
- Christian Education Certificate
- Christian Ministry Certificate
- Ministry Wife Certificate
- Basic Women's Ministry Certificate
- Advanced Women's Ministry Certificate
Leavell College also offers a degree completion program for those who have Associate degree and desire to complete their Bachelor Degree. The degree completion is a combination of online courses and periodic on-campus workshops. For more information please contact tstrong@nobts.edu.
Graduate Certificates (NOBTS)
Graduate certificates provide a systematic approach for students holding a baccalaureate degree to explore the possibility of pursuing a seminary degree while concentrating on a specific area of study, for missionaries to fulfill International Mission Board seminary requirements, or for students holding a master’s degree to gain additional knowledge of an area not covered extensively in their previous master’s program specialization.

- Hebrew Studies Certificate
- Greek Studies Certificate
- Missions Certificate
How to Register
Students who have not taken a course at NOBTS previously must register by submitting the Internet Application/Registration Form. For more information, please contact the Registrar's Office at 1-800-NOBTS-01, ext. 3304.

*All Internet courses will have an Introduction and Student Verification Week at the beginning of each session. During this week students and professors can interact while the Business Office verifies student accounts and finalizes registrations. Please keep in mind that you are not officially in the class until the Classes Begin date. At that time all students who have been approved can begin to access course materials through Blackboard.
