NOBTS Fall graduation set for December 13

The combined New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Leavell College graduation service for the fall is set for Dec. 13.

 

The service will begin at 10 a.m. and will be held in the Leavell Chapel on the NOBTS campus.

    

Due to the combined graduation, seats in Leavell Chapel will begin filling up shortly after the doors open at 9 a.m. on the day of graduation. Families of graduates are urged to come early for the best seating.
  

Candidates for graduation also should note several important deadline listed below:

 

  • A reception for graduates and their guests will be held at the President's home on Friday, December 12 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

  • Guidestone will host a breakfast program on Saturday, December 13 at 7:30 a.m. The invitation includes one guest per attending grad. RSVP's must be received by the President's Office no later than December 5. Invitations will be mailed by November 10th.

  • Caps & gowns must be ordered from Lifeway Christian Bookstore in advance and must be picked up before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12. Call Lifeway to place your order: 504-282-2626

  • Mandatory graduation rehearsal will be held on Friday, December 12 at 2:30 p.m. in Leavell Chapel.

  • Childcare is available during the graduation ceremony only. The Preschool Education Center opens at 9:30 a.m. and closes 15 minutes after the end of commencement exercises. Contact the Preschool Education Center at 504-816-8585.
