PhD Course Schedules

Registration for January and Spring 2012 courses closed November 15, 4:00 p.m. Central Time. Spring tuition must be paid or FACTS payments arranged by Friday, January 13 prior to the beginning of classes on Tuesday, January 17. Students who did not register online must contact the Research Doctoral Programs office. Schedule changes can be made through the ReDOC office until the Friday, February 3, 5:00 PM Central Time drop/add deadline.

The January miniterm course RDOC9303 Prospectus Development will meet January 2-6, 2012. Tuition for this course is due the first day of class.

Syllabi are linked to course titles on the January and Spring 2012 Schedule. Registration for Summer and Fall 2012 will open May 16, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. Central Time and close May 30, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Central Time.

Students interested in taking Latin during the fall or spring semester or enrolling in the summer German Language Institute for continuing education credit through Providence Learning Center should contact J. P. Cox at jpcox@nobts.edu or (504) 282-4455, ext. 8442.

Current PhD students in biblical studies areas who need Latin as their secondary nonbiblical language should be prepared to take the Latin proficiency examination administered through the Office of Research Doctoral Programs following the first semester of Latin. Completion of both semesters of Latin or both levels of German will prepare PhD applicants to take the Latin or German nonbiblical language entrance examination.
