Alumni Officer Workshop Completed!
National and State Officers met on campus Feb 5-7. Thank you to those who participated!! Now the work begins. Please pray for our fellow alumni officers as they put together plans for alumni work in their states and regions.Partnership News Newsletter
As we put together the first issues of Partnership News, we ask for your suggestions and input. The Newsletter will be a bi-monthly or monthly email newsletter to our alums. Over 20 state alumni chapters held their annual state alumni meetings this past fall. The total attendance was over 520 for all the meetings. Mississippi had the largest attendance with 140 being present. Meetings included food, fellowship, reports from campus and updates on the Alumni Division of the New Horizons Campaign. As well, new officers were elected to serve the coming year.
The Lord Blesses the Year End
The final two weeks of 2002 evidenced a tremendous blessing from the Lord. NOBTS' Development Office reports that over 2 million dollars was contributed or pledge in the last two weeks of December. The giving consisted of planned giving contributions, endowments, end-of-the-year contributions and New Horizons pledges and gifts. God truly has blessed.
2003 National Alumni and Friends Luncheon!
The NOBTS' annual luncheon for alumni and friends is scheduled for June 18 at 12:00 p.m. in Phoenix, AZ. Tickets will go on sale this Spring. The luncheon will take place at the Phoenix Civic Plaza. New Student Housing Is Here
Students have been moving into the new student housing. The first building, Providence Manor, is occupied. The second building, Texas Manor, is currently being occupied. The third building, Wood Manor, is soon to be open.
