Tropical Storm Bill Comes Through New Orleans
The last day of June brought Tropical Storm Bill to New Orleans. As many may know, the storm dumped 5-10 inches of rain in New Orleans. The seminary campus received around 5 inches. Streets were flooded, some branches came down. Power was lost by the entire campus for a least a few hours, with some out of power for more than twenty-four hours. Offices were closed and classes were canceled for Monday afternoon and evening. Clean up is in process. The campus weathered Bill fairly well.
