Senior Fest On the Road: Lafayette is a half-day event sponsored by the NOBTS Social Work Program and will be hosted on the campus of First Baptist Church of Lafayette.

 Words of Hope from the Book of Malachi

We will study the prophetic message of Malachi, identifying the rhetorical questions and their impact on his message. The topics addressed will then be applied to helping older, mature Christians both model and teach younger believers.

Facing My Fears of Aging: Health, Finances, and Independence

As people think about getting older, they indicate that they have several concerns that can create fear of what they will face in the future. The top three issues identified through research that cause people concern as they enter their senior adult years are declining health, managing finances, and losing independence. In this Breakout Session these and other serious concerns of seniors in our society will be addressed in light of what the Word of God says about facing all of life's fears.
