Seminary Chorus

This choral organization is comprised of men and women from the seminary family. Music students are required to enroll for four semesters. This group learns music literature form many periods, performing major choral works each year as well as singing for chapel services several times each semester.

Seminarians

The Seminarians is a men's choir comprised of seminary students, staff, and faculty. Music literature of many periods is learned and performed on and off campus. A tour is taken each spring semester and local concerts are performed in the fall semester. The Seminarians also sing several times each semester for chapel services. Ladies Ensemble

This choir is composed of female students and staff as well as the wives of seminary students, staff, and faculty. The ensemble sings for chapel services several times each semester as well as in local churches and other occasions in the New Orleans area.

NOBTS Orchestra

Chapel programs, concerts, recitals, and the accompanying of various seminary choral groups comprise the activities of this group. Membership is based upon musicianship and instrumental skills of interested persons within the seminary community.

Providence Players

This keyboard ensemble provides the participant the opportunity to perform as a member of a music group using their keyboard skills. It is composed of advanced-level keyboard students and performs an annual concert each spring.

Handbell Ensemble

This ensemble performs in Seminary chapel and for other occasions. It is open to those who have had previous experience ringing handbells. The ability to read musical notation is required.
