Bio
For more than 35 years, Daniel Warner’s passion has focused on biblical archaeology and Old Testament studies. His emphasis in teaching, research and writing has been to understand and bring to life the context of Scripture through the academic pursuit of biblical archaeology and historical geography. His many years of excavations and traveling in the Middle East has given him a wealth of experience to bring into these pursuits. This passion has led him to develop, create and produce detailed reconstructions and virtual tours of the biblical world. His creations are featured in major electronic Bible software companies, and several study Bibles.
Dan’s current research centers on the new excavations begun at Tel Hadid (mentioned in the Old Testament). He co-directs for the seminary this joint project with Tel Aviv University. He actively teaches and presents seminars on biblical archaeology and historical geography in churches and schools globally.
Dan and his wife, Carol, reside in Florida, and have three children and twelve grandchildren.
