Mission Statement

The Adventure REC program exists to cultivate student development through providing a Christ-centered community for learning about and experiencing safe, fun outdoor escapes.

In order to accomplish this mission, Adventure REC has set forth the following goals.

Provide opportunities for students, staff, and faculty to participate in a variety of outdoor adventure activities.

Provide educational opportunities for students, staff, and faculty to become more experienced in outdoor skills and become better stewards of God’s creation.

 We plan several trips per semester so that NOBTS students can experience the unique outdoor opportunities available in the Gulf Coast region.

Due to limited space, we urge interested students to sign up as soon as possible. Once you have registered for a trip, you will receive information that will include the time and place of the pre-trip meeting as well as packing lists, activity descriptions, and useful phone numbers.
