Theologically Sound Practical Ministry Training

New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary is The Church Place, providing training at both the graduate and undergraduate levels for men and women preparing to minister in the 21st Century. Through a competency-based curriculum designed to train every student in the essential skills necessary for effective ministry, the Seminary's world-class faculty provides instruction which combines classical studies with practical application.

Theological Education Delivered to You 

Our commitment is to make theological education accessible to every God-called person in the Southeast. We offer a wide variety of innovative delivery systems to make quality ministerial training available in a time format and location that is accessible to everyone, including extension center campuses throughout the Southeast. Many of our extension center classes are taught by our Trustee elected faculty either in person or via live compressed interactive video (CIV). Other innovative delivery systems include Virtual Seminary online Internet courses, one week intensive academic workshops on our New Orleans campus, and weekend classes. In addition to our Internet courses and CIV courses, we utilize other technologies such as NOBTS Blackboard class sites to assist in teaching our regular classes.
