Job responsibilities include: checking in and out members, cleaning and organizing Recreation Center equipment, cleaning and organizing different areas of the Recreation Center, helping with intramural and sporting events, along with any other request of the Recreation Director. The Financial Aid Administrative Assistant's primary role is to help students with their financial situation as they pursue an education from NOBTS and to assist the Financial Aid Director as needed. You will spend the majority of your time (20 hours per week) on the phone, answering emails, or talking with students that come in with questions. Other duties in the office may include working with the director to process NOBTS scholarships, maintaining student files, keeping the website and job board/employment opportunities page updated, and various other office tasks as needed.

The Specialist will write and produce marketing materials; identify new opportunities for digital marketing; prospect potential donors; and assist with grant applications and donor reports - enhancing NOBTS and Leavell College donor communications.

This position requires excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Word required. Employees move boxes and push heavy carts, as well as move items up/down stairs. Data entry requires extended periods of sitting. Many special projects include the use of approved cleaning agents.
