Offices Closed and Class Meetings Cancelled: Tuesday, January 21, 2025 - All offices will be closed and class meetings will be cancelled on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in preparation of impending winter weather. Primarily online courses (traditional online, mentoring, Prepare Here Weekend Hybrids) will proceed as normal. A decision concerning Wednesday, January 22nd will be forthcoming in the upcoming days.
The Office of Communications is responsible for a number of print and electronic publications, such as Vision Magazine, NOBTS This Week and other materials, designed to keep the seminary family up to date on what is going on here in New Orleans and throughout the seminary's extension centers and alumni community.
Each day, the NOBTS Communications staff strives to tell the story of what God is doing in and through the NOBTS family while upholding the highest levels of journalistic integrity. This attention to detail and journalistic excellence has garnered NOBTS writers numerous Baptist Communicator's Association awards for news and feature writing.
