Professional Doctoral Programs: Developing Ministry Excellence

Thank you for searching the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) and Doctor of Educational Ministry (D.Ed.Min.) degrees web page. Each year dozens of men and women seeking personal and professional growth join our program. All are committed to ministry excellence and are taking steps to achieve more for their churches and the Kingdom of God.  We are excited about the opportunities we have to offer you. The D.Min. and D.Ed.Min. degrees can be described as FLEXIBLEPRACTICAL, and TRANSFORMATIONAL. NOBTS has one of the largest D.Min. programs with a wide variety of specializations. This seminary pioneered the D.Ed.Min. degree and is one of only five such programs in the United States. A Korean D.Min. Program has recently been added to our North Georgia Hub in Atlanta. You will not find a better place to prepare you for the next stage in your professional development.  We invite you to explore the unique characteristics of the NOBTS experience. The Perry R. Sanders Center for Ministry Excellence is home to our Professional Doctorate degrees. You have just opened the door to a new adventure in your life. Welcome!

Dr. Chuck Kelley, President of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, considers the Doctor of Ministry degree, along with the Doctor of Educational Ministry degree, to be “the most strategically important degrees” offered by our institution.
