We stand on the principle that true healing comes from God. Our students stand on biblical truth in all of their studies and grow in their knowledge of the Word of God. We offer a program that equips students to be instruments for the Lord, guiding people to biblical solutions to life's problems.
NOBTS students and faculty are committed to advancing the field of biblically-based Christian counseling in church settings and in positions requiring professional licensure. Our faculty publications have focused on foundational and practical issues that guide our work. Our faculty members are active in several professional organizations and conduct training for Christian counselors on a regular basis.
NOBTS students and graduates are making an impact in the dynamic and multicultural city of New Orleans, in churches across the nation, in counseling centers, in hospitals and other clinical settings, on state licensing boards, and in professional organizations. NOBTS graduates are committed to the ministry of counseling.
NOBTS counselors are on mission at home and around the world. Our faculty and students have real missions experience and Great Commission focus. Whether training counselors in Cuba, equipping church leaders in Malaysia, or training pastors and counselors in our own communities, we are committed to serving God's people wherever he leads.
