Bio

Dr. Kristyn S. Carver is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Approved Supervisor in the state of Louisiana.  She is a Trust Based Relational Intervention Educator and owner of Audubon Counseling Services.  Dr. Carver occupies the Rose Ramsey Chair for Psychology & Counseling.  She was the recipient of the Marvin Jones Award for Outstanding Classroom Teacher.  Dr. Carver earned her B.S. Degree from Louisiana State University in Education, M.A. in Marriage & Family Counseling, Master or Theology, and Ph.D. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  In addition, Dr. Carver regularly presents and does training on trauma and the brain, foster care and adoption, healthy attachment, Trust Based Relational Intervention, and counseling ethics.  She lives in Mandeville with her husband and three daughters (all adopted, the youngest out of the foster care system).
