Bio
Adam Harwood served on staff in Southern Baptist churches in Oklahoma and Texas for 13 years and taught at three institutions before his election to the NOBTS faculty in 2013. He and his wife live on the NOBTS campus and have four children. He serves as professor of theology (occupying the McFarland Chair of Theology), director of the Baptist Center for Theology & Ministry, and editor of the Journal for Baptist Theology and Ministry. He serves as a Bible study teacher and deacon at First Baptist Church New Orleans, and he is a NAMB-endorsed Chaplain in the Louisiana Army National Guard. Also, he has written, edited, or contributed to seven books, including a forthcoming textbook titled Christian Theology: Biblical, Historical, and Systematic.
