4:30 p.m.

The New Orleans area is expected to experience rain and sustained winds of 15-25 mph beginning around noon on Wednesday. If the current forecast holds, the height of the storm’s impact for our area will be between 3 p.m. Wednesday and midnight with possible occasional gusts of 50 to 60 mph and 2 to 4 inches of rain. Forecasters believe there is a strong possibility that Zeta could make landfall further west of New Orleans, which would substantially lessen its impact for our area.

NOBTS and Leavell College will continue in-person classes and normal operations today and Tuesday. Any decision regarding changes to our normal operations for Wednesday will be announced on Tuesday. Please continue to look for updates about the storm on this page and on the school’s social media pages. For information on making your personal storm preparations, click here.
